The future is golden

I just saw this amazing LED pendant series from BEC Brittain. The beautifully elegant SHY  series can be hung from any of it's hubs and stretched into a desired position. I wish I had designed this light!




It makes me think of DUNE the 1984 cult classic film by David Lynch. With its futuristic gold finish, it's like a cross between futurism and baroque. But I guess the futurists were kind of baroque.
